Surrey have confirmed their capture of England wicketkeeper Steven Davies on a three-year contract from Worcestershire.
Davies, 23, rejected the offer of new three-year contract at New Road to join Surrey, where he hopes to further his international ambitions.
The wicketkeeper has played an international Twenty20 game for England and has also been capped by the England Lions.
"Surrey are the biggest club in the country and I was flattered when they made a move to sign me," he told the county's official website.
"I am hugely excited about playing my part in the next era of Surrey county cricket."
Surrey cricket manager Chris Adams added: "We're looking to build a side capable of winning trophies for many years to come.
"Steven is exactly the kind of player who can help us do that."
