Hamilton steps down from Scotland

Scotland's Gavin Hamilton has stepped down as captain of the national side citing work commitments and will be replaced by Gordon Drummond.
Hamilton made the announcement after his side lost by seven-wickets to England in Saturday's one-day international at Edinburgh's Citylets Grange.
The former Yorkshire all-rounder, who played one Test for England in 1999, made 48 in the match before handing the reins to his second in command.
"I've stepped down, it's a work commitment thing," said the 35-year-old.
"I'm not available for two or three games, starting next week, so it's probably the best time to let Gordon take over.
"I've come this far so it's probably the right time. I'll still continue as a player but there is far too much going on with work to commit as captain of a national side.
"I've not really been all there as captain because of work and I have to think of other people.
"It would have been nice to do another year or so but I took it on to do a job and try and get a few guys on the right track and that's as far as things could really go with me."
Hamilton believes Drummond, who was informed of his imminent promotion on Saturday, is the natural successor.
"It's a great time for Gordon to take over with half a dozen new players around. He's very well respected and his place is cemented in the team. I'll be around for the next year or so to give him a hand."
