Drummond guides Scotland to win

Scotland claimed a thrilling one-wicket win over tournament hosts Holland to begin their ICC World Cricket League Division One campaign in Amstelveen on Thursday.
Needing eight from the final over, and with just a wicket in hand, the Scots rode their luck after Gordon Drummond was dropped off the penultimate ball from Mark Jonkman.
That left last-man Ross Lyons needing to get two from the final ball, but Jonkman succumbed to the pressure with a leg-side wide that also allowed the batsman to scramble the extra match-winning run.
Drummond had earlier returned figures of two for 27 as Holland posted 234 for six on the back of Australian-born right hander Tom Cooper's 87.
Scotland's top order wobbled in pursuit and at 86 for five had looked on course for defeat before Moneeb Iqbal's steadying 63 from 92 balls.
But when Jonkman pinned Moneeb on the crease 10 shy of the target, and then number 10 Gordon Goudie was run out without facing a ball in the next over, Scotland again looked like they would fall short.
Drummond proved match-winner though as his unbeaten 33 from 32 balls proved decisive, albeit with the aid of some costly Dutch mistakes.
Scotland's second game is against Canada at the same venue on Saturday.
