Poor batting shocks How
Sunday Mar 23 2008 04:58
Disappointed Jamie How admitted New Zealand had thrown away the advantage with a poor batting display on the second day of the third Test against England at Napier.
The Black Caps collapsed from 103-1 to 168 all out as the outstanding Ryan Sidebottom took 7-47.
How said: "The lunch was good, but after that there was some really bad batting.
"It's a good deck and it will be throughout the whole match so, while we're really disappointed with our batting performance today, we're still in the game and, if we put in a good bowling performance, we back ourselves to chase anything.
"There were too many soft dismissals and there are a lot of batsmen in our dressing room not too happy how they went."
