Fletch backing for Vaughan
England captain Michael Vaughan has been backed by coach Duncan Fletcher to come good as the Ashes series progresses.
Vaughan score just seven runs from two innings in the First Test defeat by Australia, but Fletcher is confident that the Yorkshire batsman will do better in the weeks to come.
He said: "Michael's scored a lot of runs against Australia and he's done it in the Test match arena, and when he has scored runs in the one-dayers it's been against Australia.
"He's scored runs against them before so why can't he do it again?
"We had a wicket at Lord's that only two bowlers I know in the world could use effectively and the other one was Shaun Pollock.
"Michael has come back before and he's a class batter. The Australians admitted last time that they struggled to get him out and I think he's got the ability to come back and get a lot more runs."
