Veteran South Africa batsman Herschelle Gibbs has admitted that he would love to return to Glamorgan for part of next season.
The 35-year-old right-hander has left the Dragons to prepare for the ICC Champions Trophy, but has clearly enjoyed his time in south Wales.
He said: "I've spoken to (director of cricket) Matthew Maynard and they are very keen for me to come back and I'm very keen too.
"The people have been fantastic here and I love playing for them and there's no reason for me not to come back.
"The unfortunate thing, there is such a lot of cricket to be played these days.
"If I could have come at the beginning of the season I would love to have, but just due to the nature of the schedule it looks like it's impossible to come for the whole season."
