Veteran off-spinner Robert Croft has signed a new two-year contract to extend his stay with Glamorgan.
The 39-year-old former England Test player will remain on the payroll as a player, but will also take up added responsibilities in coaching and public relations.
He told the county's official website: "I am absolutely thrilled to be staying with the club for the next two seasons.
"Glamorgan cricket has been a huge part of my life for many years and I am delighted to be able to contribute to the club both on and off the field over the next two years."
Chairman Paul Russell added: "Robert is a tremendous ambassador for the club both on and off the field and we are delighted that his contract has been extended for the next two years.
"It is vitally important that we keep players like Robert at the club to provide leadership and a wealth of playing experience."
