Glamorgan have re-signed Australian batsman Mark Cosgrove as their overseas player for the summer of 2010.
The 25-year-old left-hander has impressed in south Wales this season and has been given an opportunity to return next term.
Chairman Paul Russell told BBC Sport Wales: "He is not the physical model that one expects of an international cricketer, but we've managed to overcome that.
"He's an enormously talented young man, very motivated and committed and he brings a dimension of pragmatism and good humour to the dressing room.
"Most importantly, he likes Glamorgan, likes what we're trying to achieve here and the set-up."
Cosgrove played in three one-day internationals for Australia in 2006, before drifting out of the international picture.
