Yorkshire opened up a two-point lead at the top of the NatWest T20 Blast North Group with a 24-run victory over Durham.

After wins over Birmingham and Worcestershire, the Vikings made it three Headingley wins in six days to stay firmly on course for a quarter-final spot.

On a sluggish pitch, Yorkshire's 152 for eight looked more than a decent effort with a third-wicket stand of 66 between David Willey (44) and Shaun Marsh (36) at the heart of it.

Skipper Tim Bresnan chipped in with 22 as his former England colleague Paul Collingwood returned figures of three for 32 for Durham.

Durham were in early trouble against Bresnan and Willey and Adil Rashid's four for 19 spun them into the ground, despite a defiant unbeaten 35 from Stuart Poynter.

Worcestershire Rapids secured a first success in this season's Blast competition with a 13-run win against Notts Outlaws at Trent Bridge.

The Outlaws had been set a target of 209 after Joe Clarke had smashed 60 from 27 balls, with solid support from Ross Whiteley (44) and Mitchell Santner (35).

They could only post 195 for five after Riki Wessels had made 49 and Alex Hales scored 44 in the chase.

Rapids bowler John Hastings took three for 31 to keep the Outlaws two points adrift of a top-four spot.

Somerset's 14-run victory over Hampshire moved them into third place in the South Group.

Opener Lewis Gregory top scored with 43 off 20 balls and useful contributions from Jim Allenby (37) and Steven Davies (32) saw Somerset post a challenging 204 for nine.

Hampshire got close as Lewis McManus (34) led the way but wickets were lost at regular intervals.

The visitors were dismissed for 190 in 19.3 overs with Tim Groenewald (two for 28) the pick of the Somerset attack.
