Johnson: Ashes defeat helped me

Australian fast bowler Mitchell Johnson has admitted that he struggled to find his best form during the Ashes defeat in the summer.
Johnson's form was patchy during the entire series which the tourists eventually lost 2-1 to England.
However, the 27-year-old believes he is a better player for the experience, saying: "I built it up really high. Obviously it's a big deal being the Ashes, but I probably built it up too much and got too excited about it all early.
"I didn't take in the fact that their home crowd was right behind them all the way and I wasn't used to that feeling, and obviously taking on the role as leader of the attack all got to me a little bit.
"I'm glad I recovered from it. It has definitely helped and is something you need to go through. It was a learning experience for me."
